A professional cleaner is an individual who has been employed and paid to perform cleaning duties by a registered cleaning company. Their work is formally recognized as part of the cleaning industry, and they are typically trained in industry standards, safety practices, and the use of specialized cleaning equipment and products.
A non-professional cleaner is an individual whose primary employment is outside of the cleaning industry but who carries out cleaning tasks as part of their role. Examples include staff in cafés, restaurants, retail stores, or other workplaces where employees are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their own section or environment, but are not employed by a dedicated cleaning company.
